Moto owned by Lenevo has introduced two new devices on 17th May 2016. Moto has finally introduced Moto G4 And Moto G4 Plus. These devices are the fourth generation of the Moto G. These devices are the premium devices by Moto with top-end specifications and features. These smartphones are the most anticipated devices of the year. There are no specific announcement for the availability and price of the Moto G4 in India while the Moto G4 Plus will be exclusively available via Amazon from Wednesday (18th May 2016). Both the devices are similar in terms of specifications and features. The phones will be running Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
Moto G4 Plus is powered by quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor equipped with qualcomm MSM8952 Snapdragon 617 chipset and Adreno 405. The device will be featuring a dedicated memory card slot to expand the memory. The memory of the phone can be expand up-to 128GB via microSD card. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the bottom. The phone is backed with the gigantic non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. The dimensions of the phone measures 153 x 76.6 x 9.8 mm while it weighs 155 grams. The phone will be available in Black and White colour options.
Moto G4 Plus sports 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Moto G4 Plus will be available in two variants. One will come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and the other variant will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The 2GB variant has been priced at Rs. 13,499 while the 3GB variant has been priced at Rs. 14,999. The other sensors of the phone includes fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro and proximity while the connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 3G, 4G and USB. Moto G4 Plus features 16-megapixel as its primary camera with f/2.0, phase detection and laser autofocus, dual tone LED flash while the front facing camera of the phone sports 5-megapixel with f/2.2 and auto-HDR.
Moto G4 features same specifications as the Moto G4 Plus. Instead of 16-megapixel Moto G4 will be featuring 13-megapixel as its primary camera. Laser autofocus and fingerprint will be also missing in the phone. Moto G4 will come only in one variant 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Apart from these changes both phones are identically same.
